Yes, you’ll learn from us, but we expect to learn from you too General Summary: This position reports to the Global Technology Operations Manager or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK. As a IT Support Technician, the perosn will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the IT Service Delivery function at MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. The person will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of best-in-class IT services and solutions to the company and its users. General Responsibilities: • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments. • Adhere to all IT, Health & Safety and wider business processes. • Follow all safety regulations in all venues. • Other duties as assigned by the Global Technology Operations Manager or their designee. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1st to 2nd line technical support to our global userbase whilst adhering to defined service delivery levels and policies. • Assist with 3rd line technical support where appropriate. • Support, monitor and assist in the administration and troubleshooting of IT services and systems including but not limited to: ServiceNow, Microsoft technologies such as 365, SharePoint, Active Directory and more. • Support other team members to achieve a best-in-class service and set a standard to follow. • Identify and help deliver continuous improvements to the service delivery function. • Assist with the deployment of updates and changes to business applications and infrastructure, adhering to change control, information security and risk management policies. • Author articles and maintain the IT knowledgebase. • Help develop and promote an innovative and proactive IT Service Delivery function. • Assist with asset, stock and license management. • Assist with account, hardware and software provisioning. • Perform end-user computer upgrades and migrations. • Work with third parties for support and purchasing. • Support F1 specific and hardware and software. • Ensure any reoccurring checks are completed in a timely fashion. • Ensure up to date documentation and accurate reporting as required. Equipment and Applications: • Advanced knowledge of enterprise level ITSM systems. • Advanced knowledge of enterprise level endpoint/client management systems. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft client and 365 environments. • Strong awareness of cyber security. • Good understanding of end-user computer hardware troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs. • Working knowledge of Microsoft server environments, Active Directory and Ethernet networking. • Working knowledge of Linux client and server environments. • Working knowledge of Apple client environments. • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Microsoft PowerShell. Education and Work Experience: • Minimum of 5 years experience in IT support. • Further education such as BSc or MIS in an ICT related qualification or equivalent experience required. • IT certifications are advantageous. • Exposure international environments is advantageous. Work Environment Physical Demands: An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including some weekends. This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
