Overview Remote - UKOutside IR35 Lead the project workstream as part of HR Transformation to design and implement a revised operating model for HR Shared Services and HR Consultancy. This includes setting out the revised organisational structure and any key changes needed for process and technology, then implementing and support elements changes as a result of the new wider HR operating model. This is developing a mature operation, i.e. not a new implementation but taking a good delivery model to the next evolution; from good to great, pushing and leveraging industry best practice in operating models and addressing deficiencies for optimal performance and support. The workstream will have two project key resources and their teams to support and contribute, HR Shared Services Senior Director and HR Consultancy Regional Leader. Responsibilities Accountable for managing programme workstream across People Services (HR shared services, Consultancy and Payroll) for setting out the operating model, to-be organization, technology and process change Understand the HR SSC, Consultancy and wider HR function; its priorities, shape and manage the development of the HR GBS Strategy, plans, business cases, projects and initiatives. Provide project management expertise in end-to-end delivery of shared services transformation Collaborate with the HR LT, GBS LT and senior leadership of the in-scope teams to facilitate and develop the overall project plan ensuring it is trackable and aligned to the HR and GBS strategy. Escalate issues, risks and change requests to programme team, GBS & HR leadership team as appropriate. Managing the definition and completion key project deliverables, from Vision, High Level Design to detailed design and implementation. Covering process, organisation and technology utilisation. Understand current in scope HR headcount and costs. Setting out org design to meet targets and delivery scope and quantum of work envisaged, setting out metrics and volumes to define and set expectations for this. Tracking workstream risks and issues within the established process, recording and disseminating lessons learned. Essential Experience Demonstrated experience of all aspects of the role, including best practice & trends across similar and relatable industries, roles and organisations, with specific demonstrable strategic and operational planning, project / programme management, change management, resource planning and budgeting experience Demonstrated experience of working with current People technology solutions and leveraging their capability to deliver the people strategy and plan Up to date knowledge and practical experience of HR Shared Services and HR policy, practice, legislation and compliance relating to the role
