We are currently recruiting for a Signal and Telecoms Engineer to join our dedicated team at London Bridge Delivery Unit. You will play a vital role in keeping the heart of the UK running safely. Working in one of the busiest railway environments in the country, you will be at the forefront of leading on signalling maintenance and faults, ensuring the smooth operation that millions rely on every day.

About the role
In your role as S&T Maintenance Engineer, you will lead and direct the Infrastructure Maintenance team to achieve business and functional objectives and meet key performance measures, as well as managing the development of individuals and the engagement of the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the arrangements for staff safety and competence.
2. Identifying and implementing safety, asset performance, reliability, productivity, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
3. Managing the inspection and maintenance of assets to standards.
4. Managing the prioritisation of work and delivery to plan.
5. Checking that safety, assurance, compliance, performance, and business processes are followed.
6. Restoring to normal operation after completion of testing/investigation, equipment that has failed, been subject to an allegation, or has been renewed as part of a maintenance delivered renewal programme.
Do you have:
* Leadership experience with 40-50 people and contractors
* Willingness to cover a large geographical area
* Budget management skills
* Experience in managing resources
* Any engineering background (signalling engineering, telecoms, civil or mechanical)

* You are an Incorporated Engineer
* You have membership of a professional body
