In this pivotal position, you’ll focus on analysing and interpreting international regulatory landscapes, supporting the development and homologation of vehicles designed for worldwide markets. Your expertise will drive compliance and innovation, helping us deliver industry-leading fully electric and hybrid vehicles. Key Responsibilities Regulation Analysis: Monitor, interpret, and report on evolving automotive regulations across global markets, with a primary focus on European standards. Homologation Support: Lead the vehicle homologation process by preparing and coordinating technical documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations and certification requirements. Regulatory Insights: Provide actionable insights into regulatory trends to guide product development and ensure our vehicles remain competitive in emerging and established markets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure new products align with regulatory requirements and customer needs. Market-Specific Research: Investigate unique standards and requirements for specific regions, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for differentiation. Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in regulatory discussions with UK and EU industry organisations, contributing to policy discussions and staying informed on upcoming standards. Product Compliance: Act as a trusted advisor on regulatory matters, ensuring all product designs adhere to global compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 3 years’ experience in R&D, regulatory compliance, or homologation within the automotive or related industries. Comprehensive knowledge of international automotive regulations, with a strong understanding of European compliance frameworks. Experience in managing homologation processes, including technical documentation and certification. Proven analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory information and provide clear guidance. Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams. A background in the electric and hybrid automotive industry is highly advantageous.
