Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all parts meet the tolerance requirements outlined in product drawings. This role will involve using specialized equipment for measurements, conducting in-depth inspections, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards.
Responsibilities
1. Perform first-off inspection of parts to ensure compliance with product drawings.
2. Conduct patrol inspections using specialized equipment such as CMM and shadow graph.
3. Carry out final in-depth inspections of components, including visual, paperwork, and dimensional checks.
4. Generate FAIR reports in accordance with AS9100 standards.
5. Conduct calibration activities to ensure all equipment is up to date and meets company requirements.
6. Ensure material traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
7. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle work pressure.
8. Prioritize daily tasks set by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in quality inspection or a similar role.
2. Proficient in using measurement equipment such as CMM and shadow graph.
3. Familiarity with AS9100 standards and requirements.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
5. Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Rate and Hours
1. The hourly rate for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
2. This is a full-time position with the standard 40 hours per week.
3. 20 days paid leave p/a rising by 1 day for every completed year up to 25 days.
4. Pension scheme.
5. 4 day working week, Mon - Thurs (10 hours per shift).
