Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and lead proposals and cost estimates for all projects.
* Support the Bids and Tenders team in bid document preparation, client liaison, and project management.
To help the sales team with proposal preparation, cost tracking, and customer specification understanding.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Assist the Sales Team in acquiring new works through proposal documentation and estimate preparation.
* Lead, plan, and prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects.
* Manage estimation enquiries, prepare detailed proposals, and maintain client relationships.
* Liaise closely with clients and departments to ensure smooth estimating and tender processes.
* Assist with bids for new contracts, support buyers' activities, and contribute to internal communications.
* Support order conversion from estimates and develop competitive tender packages.
* Interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate estimations.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Create presentations and documents for internal communication.
* Gather information for estimation documents.
* Organize project files and input details into CRM.
* Deputize for the Bids and Tender Manager as required.
Skill Requirements:
1. Engineering degree (desirable).
2. MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. GCSEs grade A–C (minimum) or equivalent qualifications.
5. Eagerness to develop knowledge and attend internal/external training.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
