Your role is all about helping people see the possibilities, engaging them to sign up to our services that could help them
succeed. You’re the face of the service, a true salesperson at heart, who’s a people person and loves interacting with people in
any way. The more you put in the more you get out.
This role can be between 24-37 hours, please stipulate your preferences when applying.
As an engagement and experience officer, a typical day might include:
* Working with local groups, organisations, partners including universities and support services and internal teams to identify
and recruit new people to our services.
* Participating and organising events, workshops, open days, welcome days, drop-ins and activities at sites to increase
opportunities to build our customer experience, attract sign-ups and access our wider services.
* Dealing with day-to-day administration to support our people and any necessary processes within Acis and the CRM systems that
we use.
* Proactively promote and market our services – including creative and digital content such as videos, photos, posters and social
media posts.
* Following up any interest to convert to sales of sign ups and bookings, including full sign up process. Ensuring the hub is
buzzing with activity – leading customer service excellence on site, general site-based administration and preparation for
activities every day. The hub should be a welcoming safe space for everyone at all times.
* Having a key focus and awareness of safeguarding and the wellbeing of our people and ensuring that any concerns are dealt with
or escalated immediately.
* Chasing of any debt as required and supporting customers to budget as required.
* Following up on enquiries, checking in to ensure satisfaction, and supporting when it is not achieved.
* Completing inspections as part of the team to ensure that our people's flats are being well kept and provide an opportunity to
engage with our people.
The must haves:
* First aid trained
* General awareness of health and safety and building management
* Are comfortable with, and can engage with people both 1-2-1 and in groups
* Experience of organizing events and knowledge of the basics of sales and marketing techniques, or willingness to learn
* Strong communicator with excellent customer service experience and skills
* Ability to work as a team, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* A good understanding of the barriers faced by people, and the solutions that may be able to benefit them
* Ability to work collaboratively with others, whether in the same team or external support providers
* Good IT skills, with an eye for detail that’s second to none.
* You’re a positive, energised and enthusiastic person, with a real zest for helping others
* Engaging and supporting people is what gets you up every day
* Nothing makes you happier than seeing someone progress, knowing you helped them get there

* Ability and confidence to deal with challenging behaviour
* You will have experience creating engaging digital marketing content
* An understanding of the different local services available for customers
* You’re interested in supporting the wider team with our wellbeing activities, learning opportunities or employment support –
and have some skills to offer in this area
* You’ll be adept at change, having got hands-on experience living and breathing new ways of working and knowing how to bring
your colleagues along for the experience.
* Working knowledge of Kinetic Solutions
