The Treatment and Personalised Care programme manage will support the delivery of the NHS England Cancer NHS Long term plan and national operational guidance to understand treatment variation in cancer care across the Thames Valley Cancer Alliance (TVCA). The role will work closely with Trusts, the TVCA pathway managers and the clinical advisory group leads for specific tumour sites delivering national priorities on treatment variation. The role will also support the delivery of SACT project to support a system approach to deliver recommendations of our capacity, demand and workforce report. This includes delivering care closer to home and making quality improvements to SACT services across the alliance. The role will also support reporting on the personalised care workstream including prehabilitation. Scoping and delivering on alliance agreed requirements will be a priority. Development of mutually agreed project plans with Project Management Office (PMO) monthly and quarterly reporting against objectives and milestones using appropriate project management tools is essential. The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
