At Isover we are looking for a Quality Engineer to work in our Quality Team, helping to deliver regulatory compliance, data driven decisions, risk identification and continuous improvement activities to ensure we remain a business to be proud of and our customers are always happy!
This Quality Engineer will be a part of the Quality team which is a small team who work collaboratively with our production team, engineering team and SLT. You will be the subject matter expert on all things quality and will have the confidence to challenge and highlight risks, the experience to investigate and suggest solutions, and the ability to present findings and influence colleagues and stakeholders.
Isover is part of Saint-Gobain and offers thermal and acoustic insulation solutions for roofs, walls and floors. Our Isover business designs and manufactures mineral wool insulation solutions in a UK-based plant in Runcorn, Cheshire, which uses 100% renewable electricity. We provide solutions across a wide range of applications, including technical insulation for industry and HVAC, distributed nationwide through our valued channel partners.
This is a full time role working Monday-Friday. We can be flexible on start and finish times.
What we're looking for:
Experience working in a Quality capacity in a production or manufacturing environment
A strong understanding of kaizan, CI and WCM methodologies
A high level of accuracy
Presentation skills
Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage across a matrix organisation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous prioritiesWhat you will be doing:
Reviewing processes across our manufacturing site
Investigating customer complaints
Presenting to stakeholders and wider site teams highlighting failures
Participate in internal and external audits
