A fantastic opportunity to join a successful construction / maintenance company in the Waterlooville area, looking for a new Finance Assistant to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for a range of duties including: Purchase orders - ensuring all are accurate and high value POs are insured, reporting overdue balances and checking that invoiced projects have insurance Domestic Reverse Charges- checking each month that proof of DRC has been received for all clients Managing client and supplier accounts accurately Credit control including managing bad debt Retentions Cashflow forecasts Bank reconciliations VAT returns - preparation, checking and submission Assisting on and undertaking preparation of Balance Sheet and P&L The company is looking for someone full-time 9am-4pm. Previous experience using Xero software would be highly beneficial. Previous experience working within construction / maintenance / projects sectors would also be highly beneficial.
