Job Description Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Care Assistant: Perform household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and tidying. Make, or assist to make your client's favourite meals. Offer c ompanionship and social support, engaging with your client's hobbies and getting to know them. Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed. Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops or a café. Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort. Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office. Administer medication and record appropriately.
