Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Resourcing Lead to join our HS2 project team on site in London Euston. Reporting to the Head of Resourcing, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and holistic resourcing service within your defined portfolio. This role involves working closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to forecast and resource all staff roles effectively through redeployment or recruitment in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
What you’ll do:
* Engage proactively with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and influence resourcing decisions.
* Support workforce planning and recruitment processes with a cost-conscious mindset.
* Monitor the effectiveness of recruitment and redeployment processes regularly.
* Collaborate with the HR team and line managers to ensure effective communication of end dates for individuals on the project.
* Manage the redeployment of priority individuals, ensuring procedures are followed.
* Oversee the process for launching vacancies, from request through to advertisement.
* Shape resource briefs with hiring managers and agree on sourcing strategies.
* Ensure a smooth redeployment experience for workers in the SCS priority pool.
* Maintain strong links between recruitment/HR teams within Skanska UK and Parent Company teams.
What You'll Bring:
* Substantial experience in recruitment with expertise in end-to-end processes.
* Previous in-house recruitment experience.
* Experience with redeployment and workforce planning.
* Knowledge of employment law and relevant legislation.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Ability to influence at all levels with tenacity when required.
* Proficiency in data interpretation to demonstrate value add.
* Competency in Microsoft Office and use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
