We are currently recruiting for Store Assistant/ Goods Receiver to join our Truly Talented team.
What we offer
* £12.41 per hour
* Permanent, Part time contract (24hrs per week) covering a 7 day period
The Role
The Store Person/ Goods Receiver ensures the efficient running of all stores area processes within the hotel including deliveries, distribution, checking and monitoring.
Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
* Ensure strict stock control procedures are adhered to at all times and to report any failure in systems as a matter of urgency to the Operations Manager/General Manager;
* Accepts all deliveries to the stores and always follows our company delivery instructions including temperature checking of product & spot checking delivery vehicles;
* Rotating stock to ensure older products are used first;
* Ensures deliveries are all put away in the corresponding areas;
* Ensures all stock movements are correctly recorded and that all necessary documentation is sent to Finance department;
* Maintains all stock levels according to guidelines, conducting stock taking checks as part of daily, weekly and monthly duties as directed by the Operations Manager/General Manager;
* Checks all sell by dates on a daily/weekly basis to ensure items are used and waste is kept to a minimum;
* Prepares order requests daily as a result of checks process. Making sure the items ordered are on company stocking policies;
* Ensures breakages are correctly recorded, investigates stock losses and completes all necessary reporting documentation;
* Attends Stock Take de-brief meetings to report all activities and actions;
* Maintains high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and efficiency in all stores areas. As well as managing the hotels beer line process;
* Accountable for any keys and cash signed for at the start of each shift, ensuring stores areas are kept secure at all times.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
