About Our Client
My client is a multi-award winning food manufacturing business that supplies major premium grocers and the independent sector.
Job Description
* Build and maintain excellent working relationships with current trade customers (farm shops/delis) and provide support to build the brand and product range.
* Work towards a journey plan to ensure effective UK coverage.
* Establish detailed plans with key customers to demonstrate the delivery of annual sales targets and ensure their achievement.
* Undertake product audits and provide details for our marketing department for development, gap analysis, competitor activity, and trade promotional activity.
* Identify new business opportunities with existing customers and potential new customers that will positively contribute to the business plan. Recommend actions and deliver.
* Be alert to all changes and developments (e.g., competitor activity) that may influence the progress of our sales plan and recommend actions to counteract them.
* Attend UK trade shows.
* Co-ordinate, develop, and execute individual customer tasting days.
The Successful Applicant
* An experienced Field UK Sales Representative able to deliver great work from both the field and office alike.
* An excellent communicator at all levels - inspires confidence in front of all audiences and in all situations (including senior management).
* Organised and with good planning skills - able to put plans into practice.
* Self-starter and motivator - enthusiastic and able to gain the support of customer and company personnel.
* Flexible and able to deal with the cut and thrust of a dynamic and highly competitive marketplace.
* Embrace change, continuous development, and innovation.
* Socially confident and comfortable working across independent trade channels.
* Able to travel extensively throughout the UK and be prepared to be away from home.
What's on Offer
Salary between £35-45k plus 10-20% Bonus, car/car allowance, company credit card.
