St Edmund’s Catholic Pre-School, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 1QG £27,269 pro rata 37.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Permanent Reference: 6588 Required as soon as possible St Edmunds Catholic Pre-school is seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative and dedicated Early Years specialist who can lead the pre-school. The new leader will have the opportunity to build on the current good practise based on a Reggio Emilia approach. The pre-school is a governor lead provision, and part of St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School. You will work closely with the school’s Foundation Stage Leader who oversees the early years foundation stage, and will be part of a supportive, hardworking staff team, including administrative staff, speech therapists and colleagues in the school. As pre-school leader, you will be the designated safeguarding lead and SENDco for which additional training will be provided. The 26-place pre-school and before/after school clubs are open term time only (38 weeks per year). You will work between 8am-6pm, five days per week with the exact workings times to be agreed. There will be some breakfast and afterschool club time within the timings. The pre-school is located near the centre of Bury St Edmunds. The setting is housed in its own building within the school grounds and makes use of the extensive school surroundings. There is an extensive programme of continuing professional development for staff and a supportive parent community.
