Support Worker – Complex Needs and SEMH
Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join an alternative provision in Worthing, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
The Role:
* Providing tailored support to students with complex needs and SEMH, helping them engage with their education.
* Building positive relationships to foster trust and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
* Assisting in the delivery of individual learning plans and interventions.
* Managing challenging behavior with a calm and empathetic approach.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with complex needs or SEMH.
* Patience, resilience, and the ability to build strong rapport with students.
* A valid DBS check on the update service.
* Up-to-date safeguarding training.
