Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated NMC registered nurse to join and lead our nursing team. The Regional Nurse Manager will be responsible for providing direct patient care and administering a range of medications. This role needs a compassionate individual who has excellent communication skills and is committed to putting the patient first.

Your role
As more and more patients are treated outside a traditional hospital setting, the role of the home care Nurse is developing. We work in a variety of environments such as clinics to residential accommodation and patients' own homes. We are able to treat individuals at school or even in a work environment. Our nurses help the NHS meet the needs of elderly, disabled or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the hospital. We are able to help support our patients to become more independent in the management of their treatment and to make the whole treatment journey more convenient.
This role will also assume responsibility for ensuring the provision of clinical services to patients receiving nursing and complex out of hospital services is first-class and aligned with the company values. They will also ensure that the services comply with the requirements of the Care Quality Commision, andCare Inspectorate, best clinical practice and legal and ethical requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and ensuring compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

Duties
* Perform patient observations and ensure that any patient is fit to proceed with their treatment
* Conducting 1:1 meetings and Professional Development Reviews (PDRs) with members of the clinical homecare nursing team, in-line with company policy.
* Carrying out regular field visits with members of the nursing team, providing constructive feedback on all areas of their clinical work.
* Be included on the on-call rota for out of hours service issues following required training.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
* Provide compassionate support to the patient and family
* Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and independence.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring that patient safety is paramount.
Requirements
* Current NMC registration
* Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in a clinical setting, including a minimum of 2 years experience as a clinical homecare nurse or manager
* Experience of administering S/C, IM or IV medications
* SACT experience
* Valid UK driving license
* Willingness to work autonomously
* Attention to detail
