We are looking for a motivated Service Manager to join a global leading manufacturer within their respective industry. Reporting directly to the MD, you will be a key member in ensuring the company's clients are provided with the top service and after sales experience. You will be involved in all aspects of planned maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventive maintenance schedules on customer sites in the UK and Worldwide. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role on the road within a secure and stable company.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Managing the service team (Field Service Engineers, Helpdesk Engineers, and Admin)
2. Leading the service team to provide high quality after sales service to customers
3. Overseeing the day to day running of the service team
The Ideal Candidate:
1. A positive and outgoing attitude, even when dealing with difficult situations.
2. 2 Years Management Experience
3. 5 Years Technical Experience
4. CNC Wood Cutting / Machine Tool experience - Highly Advantageous
5. Field Service Experience - Advantageous
6. Professional and well-presented.
