As an account manager, lead your individual project teams to deliver commercially successful projects in line with the Company's policies and procedures to achieve your individual annual project profit target as set by the board.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Working with existing customer base as well as new business contacts to identify commercial opportunities, developing these opportunities working with the wider team to the point of order.
2. Using our CRM Software 'Goldmine' to log client and project related information. Following project and sales related procedures using our Business Management System (BMS) and ensuring that sales and associated project data is saved as per policy to our project folder system.
3. Using our Multi Project Costing software to closely monitor the commercial progress of your projects, focusing on opportunities that will help you achieve your profit target.
4. Commercially managing your projects to achieve each project's profit target. Working with our supply chain / sub-contractor base to deliver projects safely, to high standards, keeping within budget.
5. Generating quotes and tenders for specific projects. Providing customers with quotations to meet their requirements within their deadlines, where appropriate working with the design team and in conjunction with sub-contractors and suppliers.
6. Providing information in a timely and expedient manner to internal support teams to ensure the efficient delivery of the requirement.
7. Working with our HSEQ Team to deliver a safe project, in line with all of our H&S Policies and procedures.
8. During the delivery phase, actively managing the project delivery team to achieve profit, health and safety, quality, budget, and timescales.
9. As required by your Team Director, preparing financial information to report your progress against profit and turnover target for the financial year.
10. Updating our client CRM Goldmine to provide accurate invoice forecasting and report potential orders/project opportunities.
11. Developing knowledge and experience of relevant industry developments.
12. Performing such other duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by your sales Director.
13. Working with the sales coordinator to regularly update Goldmine, invoice forecasts, project updates, and processes.
14. Leading and managing the Project Managers working on your projects, supporting them to consistently deliver the Company's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Standards on all your project sites.
15. Acting as a liaison between other departments to develop better communication and teamwork across your individual projects.
16. Identifying new business opportunities and client relationships, developing the Company's network.
17. Developing existing customer relationships to identify additional project opportunities for the Company.
18. Attending quarterly Company sales meetings, preparing your individual updated sales information for discussion and attending the meeting.
19. Contributing to the Company's social media content.

6. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
7. Familiarity with relevant software systems (e.g., Goldmine, MPC).
8. Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.

Conditions of Employment:
1. This position is based in the Office, with regular travel required for site visits.
2. Hybrid working, working from home up to 2 days a week.
3. The hours are 08:30hrs to 17:00 hrs. (one hour for lunch).
4. The annual holidays total 30 days, 4 of which are designated company days and are taken over the Christmas period on dates determined by the Board.
