Keystream are working with a leading care provider specializing in specialist children's clinical services based in the Greater London / South East of the UK. Due to restructuring they are urgently seeking a permanent Registered Manager to join their team ASAP. Job Summary: The Registered Manager will be responsible for supporting organisation and Head of Care Services with the management and day to day operations withing this specialist provider of care related to Children and Young People. This is a permanent role only. With an established track record in a similar post, a RGN / RMN (current PIN) is required and you will ideally have experience of delivery in relation to Neurology and ABI services. You will be a strong compassionate leader who can support, lead and mentor those around you whilst not losing sight of ensuring the highest standards of quality care are always a priority working with support staff at every level across clinical and support teams. As the Registered Manager you will have full day to day ownership of all elements related to quality, safety, home management and providing assurance that the children and young people are always the tope priority. At least 3 years experience in a similar role - your positive manner and empathetic management of the service will be key to your success in this post - you must however have worked in a similar post as a Registered Manager. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of Care by providing strong leadership and by managing the day-to-day operations of the specialist clinical service home. Help the development and implementation of core care plans and packages of care as identified that are tailored to the specific needs of the children and young people. Ensure compliance with health care regulations, CQC standards and associated regulatory requirements are met and exceeded. Help identify any training needs related to the team of health care professionals and associated care staff. Have oversight of staff plans and ensure that rotas and staff cover is planned to support the day to day operational requirements Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, staff, and families. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as needed. Demonstrate a commitment to the organisations values and act in a highly professional manner at all times. Liaise with health care professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and support. Maintain accurate records and documentation, manage your budgets effectively reporting to senior management as required. Qualifications: RGN / RMN with a current PIN DBS Enhanced and ideally already on the continuation service At least 3 years experience of working in a similar role ideally with Children's services. Previous experience in a similar role as a Registered Care Home Manager is required Knowledge and experience in specialist clinical care home service provision. Excellent leadership, communication, empathy and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions.
