Supply Chain Operational Support Executive
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:
The Supply Chain Operational Support Executive will play a key role in the UK & ROI Sales Supply Chain team, providing operational support to core functions including Planning, Expediting, Operational Purchasing and Supply Chain & Customer Care.
The successful candidate will ensure that our supply chain, commercial, technical and project team have clear and concise information on order status to ensure agreed service levels are met.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on:
1. Order book management, aligning customer request dates with delivery from suppliers and reconciliation of date discrepancies.
2. Proactively managing open supplier orders and expediting/de-expediting where required.
3. Acting as the link between UK & ROI Sales and UK Supply site to understand specific issues relating to products/services.
4. Working with technical teams to offer alternative products which satisfy customer requirements in light of supply chain inefficiencies.
5. Collaboration with colleagues to review and prevent fails, understand stock control and input and advising details which support forecasting processes.
6. Acting as the first point of contact for priority orders for all teams.
Your previous experience is likely to include:
1. Working experience and understanding of supply chain/materials management fundamentals and lean six sigma.
2. Dealing with challenging customer situations.
3. Collecting and interpreting qualitative data.
4. Using Microsoft CRM and JDE.
5. Managing operational purchasing and purchase order delivery schedules.
