Are you a Civil Engineering Technician based in London? Do you specialise in transport and highway design?
I am excited to announce our client is looking for a motivated Highways CAD Technician to join their team in London. They are a specialist transport planning consultancy that works across several development planning projects, from gallery extensions to garden villages, new ports, and even sporting complexes. As a consultancy, they are fully invested in the development and progression of all employees.
The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in highway design and be proficient with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities
1. Assisting Project Partner/Project Managers with the delivery of design work and assisting the design team;
2. Producing preliminary/concept Junction designs including priority junctions, ghost island arrangements, and roundabouts;
3. Reviewing site layout including visibility, margins, footways, carriageway widths, etc;
4. Producing swept path analysis and vehicle tracking;
5. Undertaking accompanied site visits with Project Managers;
6. Interpreting traffic, speed, and topo survey to inform highway designs;
7. Inputting into technical reports including Stage 1 RSA brief and designer's response;
