Finance Assistant-Exchequer Accounts Receivables Teams
We are looking to recruit a hardworking, committed, and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate they have the relevant skills required to undertake this role. The role will involve a lot of administrative and financial work and may require you to quickly switch priorities between workloads. You will be expected to be able to work well independently but also as part of a team.
We are a busy financial administration team responsible for collecting contributions from clients for adult social care. The core function of the role is to assist and deal with customer queries and workloads that result from collecting these contributions that are received primarily by phone, but also email and written correspondence. Most queries are received via phone calls to a duty enquires line; and a large proportion of your time will be taken up dealing with these calls and the after work.
You will be dealing with these queries, as well as providing administrative support in the creation of the associated invoices, as well as reconciling accounts, chasing outstanding payments, and associated administrative functions.
Please note, this role is not an accountancy post, but relates to operational receivables finance / customer service.
Please ensure you have uploaded and attached your supporting statement to evidence how you meet the criteria for the role (separate from any CV that may be supplied). The panel may be unable to shortlist you for interview without this evidence.
Although the post is office based in Preston, we are currently 100% homeworking; with scope for individuals to work in the office if they wish. You would also be required to attend the office during working hours if requested.
If you would like an informal discussion regarding the role, please contact finance team leaders:
