In this role the candidate will be the first/second line of contact for any computer-related issues stretching from printers, emails, telephones, device management and network access issues. Training will be provided to the right candidate to help bring them up to speed should they not have extensive experience in certain areas of the role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle with business insurance are essential due to travel requirements.
Desired qualities;
• Good IT knowledge
• Windows desktop and Server experience
• Knowledge of other Microsoft servers – SQL, SharePoint, Exchange etc.
• Mobile device support and deployment
• Experience using and managing Office 365 and Microsoft online services (ideal but not essential)
• Understanding of networking principles
• Knowledge of Cyber Security principles
Support hours are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with daily start times varying on a rotational basis with other team members. Some out-of-hours work will be required for planned maintenance, emergencies and pre-arranged extended support.
