The Role:
As Payroll Administrator your role will primarily be focussed on the payroll function of Westcoast Ltd but ongoing training for the overseas payrolls. You will assist the Payroll Manager with processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner whilst identifying opportunities to improve processes and being involved in Payroll projects.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
* Supporting the Payroll Manager across circa 1100 employees in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands (expansion likely)
* Collaborating with the HR team and utilising the attendance management system on absence and holiday reporting
* Handling any queries relating to payroll, pensions and benefits.
* Managing onboarding administration including starter paperwork from the point of employee start date
* Calculating statutory calculations for all occasions
* Liaise with managers and HR to gain payroll information
* Seek and identify opportunities to improve & enhance current processes
* Participation in Payroll projects as required
Is this the role for you?
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
* Ideally you will have one to two years’ experience in payroll processing start to finish
* Excellent administration and organisational skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
* Intermediate to advanced MS Excel (ideal but we can provide training)
* Good communicator at all levels
* Self-motivated learner - able to quickly pick up processes and develop knowledge of the company
* Good time management
* Works well under pressure and to deadlines
Desirable but not essential:
* Knowledge of Auto Enrolment
* Interested in gaining a payroll qualification (qualification sponsorship will be considered)
