Vacancy: IT Service Support Analyst Location: Chilton (Onsite) Job Family: Infrastructure and Operations As the IT Service Support Analyst your purpose will be to Ensure the JMIT infrastructure and JMIT managed end user devices across the site/s are performing to standard. Provide local on-site support for assigned incidents and requests, also assisting with global/regional project implementations. Ensure local infrastructure delivers to business expectations (SLA) while remaining fully aligned to global JMIT Policies. Support global JMIT teams in troubleshooting and resolution as and when needed. Your responsibilities: For JMIT owned and deployed technologies: Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support local infrastructure, including computer workstations, laptops, printer deployment and communications, mobile devices, phones, meeting room equipment, assist with local area networking (including wifi) and other computer and telecommunications equipment. Diagnose and resolve issues associated with end user-based application software, multi-user applications (where unique to site) and operating systems. Where needed build / install application software on JMIT supported end user devices (PC, laptop, tablet and mobile) including new starter builds. Maintain/update the hardware inventory for end user devices on site/s. Maintain the IT infrastructure to a high professional standard thereby maximizing the productivity of employees whilst supporting the business plans. Ensure that company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to. Requirements for the role: Experience of working with the following technologies: Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365, Mobile Technology, Printer Technology, DNS, DHCP, Working knowledge of switches and routers. Working knowledge of desktop, laptop, server and printer computer hardware dependencies and relationships of networks, phones, mobile devices, PC's operation systems, databases and applications used in the JM environment. Experience of technical implementations with good understanding of Microsoft and networking technologies. Holder of a recognized IT qualification or has significant IT experience.
