* Hours: 37.5 per week (basic)
* Location: Falkirk, Scotland - Workshop based.
About the role
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Maintain and repair a wide range of control valves and actuators including; positioners, boosters, solenoids, switches and regulators.
* Maintain and repair a wide range of isolation valves including; gate valves, parallel slide valves, ball valves when required.
* Use diagnostics and pressure testing.
* Set up and calibrate associated instruments.
* Adhere to all safety requirements including safety checks of tools and equipment.
* Enter the valve overhaul and test details into the Valve Management System.
* Actively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Experience in a relevant role, particularly with Control Valves (essential).
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, ONC Engineering or equivalent (essential).
* Ability to use the range of workshop equipment.
* Ability to problem solve.
* Full UK driving license.
Additional Information
* Workshop based.
* Occasional site work by agreement.
* May be required to drive company or hired vehicles by agreement.
