Role: Assistant / Graduate Site Manager

Looking for an ambitious graduate who has recently completed a degree in Construction Management / Project Management or Civil Engineering to work on a multimillion pound commercial scheme in Basingstoke.

The Role: Are you an ambitious and dynamic graduate eager to take the next step in your career? I am looking for a driven individual to join the team and work closely with our experienced Site Managers. This role is designed for someone who wants an opportunity in the construction industry, with hands-on training and mentorship provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any on-site issues.
* Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
* Take the initiative to step up and lead the site in the Site Manager’s absence.
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
* HNC or Degree in Construction Management
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
* Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ambition to grow and develop into a Site Manager role.
