Finance Assistant (Temporary) Exeter, Devon £25,000 - £28,000 per annum Our client, a distinguished service-oriented business, is currently recruiting a highly skilled Finance Assistant to support their strategic financial operations on a temporary basis. Both, part-time and full-time working arrangements with a minimum commitment of three working days per week, will be considered for this opportunity. As the Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's financial operations, with a primary focus on the purchase ledger function. This position is integral to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial processes. The responsibilities: Manage and oversee the purchase ledger function. Process and reconcile supplier invoices. Ensure timely and accurate payments. Maintain and update financial records. Assist in month-end closing procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and controls. The candidate: Proven experience within a similar role, with comprehensive proficiency in purchase ledger management and advanced financial administrative processes. Experience of using Sage 50. Proven competencies in handling high-volume transactions. Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
