Essential
* Clarity of purpose and student-centred vision;
* Understanding of the strategies needed to establish consistently high aspirations and standards of results and behaviour;
* High expectations for accountability and consistency.
Why join The Holgate Academy?
The Holgate Academy is based on the outskirts of Nottingham within the distinct community of Hucknall. We have around 1400 students, with 11-16 education being based on the main site, and Post 16 provision shared with our partners. The Academy is part of the Diverse Academies Trust. The Academy prides itself on working as a key partner within the Trust, but also on working with partners beyond the Trust, to ensure that we are constantly striving to research and craft the best quality education experience which works for our students in our context. The Academy is delighted to be on the list of schools to be rebuilt in the coming years, and we are confident that this will enhance the work we are doing within our community.
We would be happy to arrange a visit to the academy, where we can discuss with you the importance of the school within the local community and how, by working with us, you can be part of the team that builds on the past, ensures performance in the present and prepares the students for their future successes. Please contact Lynsey Baum at lbaum@holgate-ac.org.uk to arrange a visit.
