As a participant of our Graduate program, you will be working in a dynamic, hard-working Technology Risk & Information Security team!
Responsibilities may include:
1. Security Incident Response/Threat Intelligence
2. Act as the front line of defence at American Express protecting the brand, employees, assets and card members across the globe against threats 24/7/365
3. Minimize risk of cyber-attacks and focus on detection and response of threats
4. Infrastructure, Application, Network, Cloud, & AI/ML Security
5. Drive risk reduction through the rapid identification and remediation of vulnerabilities across the company
6. Deliver secure network solutions that enable secure operations and highly available products and services for our customers
7. Data Loss Prevention
8. Protect our customers, partners, and colleagues from the loss of sensitive information through normal business processes and/or malicious actors
9. Monitor and block sensitive data loss where legally permissible
10. Identity and Access Management/Authentication
11. Deliver centralized Enterprise Identity and Access Management products
12. Cryptography/Encryption Services
13. Protect all forms of sensitive information, on all platforms, resulting in protection of the Brand and information assets, and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for ambitious & talented individuals that share our companys value to always do the right thing for our customers, to win as a diverse and inclusive team that respects each other and our differences. Successful candidates will have:
14. Cyber security education and/or industry experience
15. Strong verbal and written communication skills
16. Knowledge or awareness in information security, compliance, assurance, and/or other security standard processes and principles
Minimum Qualifications
17. Completed a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems within the 2 years, or have a graduation date of June - September 2025
