Are you a Quality and Food Safety professional, looking for a new challenge and the chance to make a difference?
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Quality Manager for the UK & Ireland, who will manage compliance and food safety for the portfolio of products sold in these countries (infant food, organic etc).
About the role:
As a Quality Manager, you will ensure that products in the portfolio are authentic, safe, legal and produced to the specified quality.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and management of Food Quality systems to provide Due Diligence defence for the company and to maintain BRC & Organic accreditation that support the business needs.
Working alongside both local UK teams and our Global colleagues.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for someone who has experience in the management of a GFSI Quality Management standard within the food industry.
You will need to be a self-starter and able to multitask diverse areas. The right person will be able to work cross functionally, have exceptional interpersonal skills as well as a “can do” mindset.
Must haves:
* University degree AND/OR Minimum 8 years experience in quality management within the food industry
* Experience in leading & managing a GFSI Quality Management standard within the food industry
* Experience in organic certification is an advantage
* Experience in internal auditing and corrective action management
* Experience in HACCP
* Managerial independence (reports directly to Country Manager UK & I and indirectly to Director Quality Excellence Hero Group)
* Collaborative team player, able to build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset. This is a hybrid-working role with some working from home and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office minimum 2 days a week. There will be some travel involved with this role.
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday.
