We are currentlylooking for a new Front Office Supervisor to work with the FrontOffice Manager at Ibis BristolCentre.
Responsibilities and essential jobfunctions include but are not limited to thefollowing:
SupervisoryRole:
* Oversee the teamand ensuring a smooth process.
* Training andinduction of all new staff to agreedstandards.
* Receive feedback from guests andensure quick and effective handling ofissues.
* Deal with complex enquires andcomplaints from clients relating to receptionfunctions.
* Manage daily issues that may arisewithin the team.
* Participate in monthly teammeetings.
* Communicate effectively with otherteam members.
ReceptionDuties:
* Extends a warmefficient welcome for customers.
* Check in andcheck out of guests procedures on the Information Technology systeminstalled at the hotel.
* Responds to phone callsand occasionally may takebookings.
* Collaborating closely with all hoteldepartments (Housekeeping Maintenance F&B) sharing oracquiring important information about special guest requests andneeds.
* Rooming of guests and description ofroom features.
* Create cash register and dailyclosing.
* Invoice control and credithandling.

* Answering and fulfilling all wishesand inquiries of the guests.
* Complainthandling.
* Epitomizes the Heartists spirit inhis/her interactions with customers
* Assist theFood and Beverage Department whenrequired
Health / Safety of people /Environment:
* Supervises thecleanliness of the workplace and the proper functioning of theequipment made available to him/her
* Knows andfollows the procedures in the event of a fireevacuation.
* Knows and applies the sustainabledevelopment programmer policy.
* Ensurecompliance with service quality and hygienestandards.
* Applies safety rules in customerreception particularly for customers withdisabilities
