We’re looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to join our group Finance Team.
Location: Hybrid Working | Business Area: Finance | Salary: Up to £23,000 depending on experience
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this dynamic team includes individuals with a variety of experiences both in accounting practice and industry. They have a real focus on everyone taking ownership of their own role, whilst learning from each other’s experience to support individual personal development.
The Role:
* Coding and posting purchase invoices into Sage 200 and via our AP software
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Managing the collation of invoices from different sources and distributing for authorisation
* Dealing with supplier queries
* Posting of bank transactions
The Candidate:
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently and successfully perform duties under pressure
* Clear understanding of accounting basics
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Knowledge of Sage 200 preferred, but not essential
Salary details: Up to £23,000 depending on experience

Hours: A standard week is 37½ Monday to Friday
