Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Portsmouth and do require travel to their offices.
Job Description
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Being a competent, confident, and motivated payroll professional with experience in a multi-site business.
* Staying technically up to date and keen to deliver results by improving payroll processes and procedures.
* Exhibiting excellent management and communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels of hierarchy within the business.
* Taking responsibility to provide a full payroll service to the Group and its employees.
* Handling all annual HMRC payroll reporting requirements including FPS, EPS, P60, and P11D returns.
* Running in-house payroll and completing manual payroll calculations accurately and efficiently.
* Possessing detailed knowledge of taxation, PAYE, National Insurance rules, and other information relating to payroll.
* Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
