We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager based at our UK Head Office in Weybridge. You will work within Group Finance for the UK division of Saputo Dairy UK and will lead and manage our Financial Accounting team of three Accountants / Administrators. SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products.
YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
1. Managing all of the period end accounting processes for the UK division ensuring compliance with the monthly deadlines.
2. Reporting the consolidated position for the UK division under IFRS ensuring all consolidation adjustments are accurate and in line with Saputo Group expectations.
3. Overseeing the fixed asset accounting and reporting for the UK business, ensuring accurate and timely reporting compliant with the capitalisation policy of the Group. This also includes the accounting for the leased (right of use) assets under IFRS16.
4. Managing the monthly financial control processes ensuring compliance with the minimum levels of financial control and the Canadian national instrument 52-109.
5. Driving the financial accounting and reporting improvements from the Microsoft Office D365 ERP upgrade project over the next two years, particularly improvements around capex and lease accounting (IFRS16) as well as developing reports.
6. Leading the simplification of processes, continually challenge existing ways of working and drive changes.
7. Leading the preparation and review of statutory financial statements under FRS102.
8. Playing a key role in managing the external audit.
9. Overseeing the expenses and corporate credit and purchasing card approval processes ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and recording of costs in the ledgers.
10. Working closely with the Head of Financial Accounting to develop the Company's admin department reporting and forecasting processes.
YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
11. ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with previous post qualification experience.
12. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel ideally at advanced level.
13. Able to demonstrate experience in consolidation accounting and statutory reporting.
14. Able to demonstrate the ability to challenge the status quo and to own and deliver change.
15. Able to demonstrate where you have successfully engaged, and influenced, a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across a business.
16. Able to demonstrate a track record of team leadership and development.
