Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Technician to join our team at bet365. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a proactive approach to maintaining our multi-story office complex on a reactive and pre-planned basis.
About the Role:
As a Site Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance in accordance with SFG20 standards. You will also respond to requests through our Facilities Helpdesk and perform painting and decorating tasks, as well as minor plumbing and joinery repairs.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Carrying out regular inspections of the building to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
* Responding promptly to requests from staff and visitors to resolve any maintenance-related issues.
* Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning gutters, checking fire alarms, and testing emergency lighting.
* Chaperoning contractors and ensuring that they adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Reporting and correcting faults to maintain property standards.
* Obtaining quotes for minor technical parts and completing collection and delivery tasks as required.
* Carrying out general maintenance tasks including joinery, basic plumbing, and electrical work.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in facilities management and experience working with a range of equipment and systems. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Familiarity with health and safety protocols, including COSHH, Risk Assessment, and Permits to Work.
* Experience using computer software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Working Arrangements:
The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends, to ensure that the office complex is maintained to a high standard at all times.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
