Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Sales Team Member to join our team at Bang & Olufsen of Harrogate. In this role, you will play an integral part in delivering an exceptional brand experience, engaging with customers to understand their needs, and providing them with expert product recommendations that align with our brand’s values of quality, innovation, and design.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with premium products and be part of a high-end, design-driven retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Engagement: Create personalized, memorable experiences for customers through expert advice, product demonstrations, and in-depth knowledge of our portfolio of luxury audio-visual products.
* Sales & Performance: Drive sales and meet targets through proactive customer engagement, offering tailored solutions based on customer preferences and needs.
* Brand Representation: Uphold the values of Bang & Olufsen by ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to quality, design, and innovation.
* Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest product launches, features, and industry trends to provide customers with up-to-date information and expert recommendations.
* Customer Service: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring post-purchase support and follow-up to enhance customer loyalty.
* Store Presentation: Assist in the daily maintenance of the store environment, ensuring that displays are visually appealing and products are well-organized.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other store team members to create a cohesive and positive work environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to achieve both individual and team goals.
Qualifications
* Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
* Experience in Retail Sales and in-depth Product Knowledge
* Strong Customer Service skills
* A positive attitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with Bang & Olufsen products is a plus
* A relevant academic qualification in retail, sales, or a related field
* A full driving licence and use of a company vehicle are essential.
