Make an Impact at RSM UK Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue. At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path. Within Corporate Finance we are the leading M&A advisory teams in the middle market and we are growing our infrastructure M&A capabilities to further complement our position. To further support this expansion, we are looking to recruit an M&A Assistant Director with infrastructure, energy and utilities specific experience. The role is wide-ranging and offers significant opportunity to join a strong and fast-growing team. You will further develop your skills and experience in both execution and origination across our M&A advisory business. You’ll make an impact by: Helping to build and maintain strong relationships with clients while also being a trusted member of the RSM M&A team. Working across a range of activities from broad corporate finance advice to detailed advice on financing structures. Providing robust advice, supported as appropriate by financial modelling. Developing relationships with the investors and lenders we engage with on behalf of clients. What we are looking for: We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: Extensive experience in pitching and execution of infrastructure, energy, utilities and transport M&A transactions. Strong financial modelling experience. Experience and willingness to coach/mentor a pool of analysts and associates. Working closely with the existing sector focused advisory teams to originate new business and execute transactions. Maintaining and developing infrastructure and other fund relationships to improve profile and support the product origination. Developing industry and other professional advisory relationships and increasing the M&A profile of RSM with those counterparties.
