The role: Harrow School is seeking a Tutor for Admissions/Harrow Ambassador at Large to support the admissions team by working closely with prep schools with an aim to increase and improve liaison between Harrow School and the prep schools. This position demands excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, along with a proactive approach to relationship building.

The skills: This role would suit a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, who can confidently engage with prep school staff, prospective and current parents, and colleagues. You should be empathetic, approachable, and enthusiastic and you will have a keen sense of customer care, able to build successful working relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents. You will pride yourself on your excellent organization, and written and verbal communication skills, and your ability to manage multiple tasks, think and work effectively under pressure individually as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

The environment: Harrow School is situated within a beautiful site in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 830 boys study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses. The admissions team is responsible for supporting parents, boys, prep schools and junior schools to identify and guide prospective boys and their parents from initial enquiry, through testing, to an offer being made and accepted.
