Job Description
Are you an experienced aerospace industry professional passionate about engine maintenance and repair? This company is seeking a skilled Engine Mechanic/Technician to join their dynamic team in Stansted.
As an Engine Mechanic/Technician, your responsibilities include performing maintenance and repair on various engine types such as CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G, and Trent700. Your main focus will be collaborating with the team to ensure efficient engine shop operations while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate in daily engine workshop operations.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs following manuals and industry regulations.
3. Contribute to meeting company performance targets.
4. Promote a safe and efficient working environment.
5. Follow health, safety, and security policies.
6. Apply a flexible, proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Time-served aerospace apprenticeship with at least 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience.
2. Experience working in a busy engine shop on the listed engine types.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of engine shop manuals and documentation.
5. Understanding of Part 145 and FAA regulations.
6. Existing approval on at least one listed engine type.
7. Desirable: Borescope inspection skills, Human Factors training, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certifications.
