A Senior Infrastructure Engineer is required on a hybrid basis in London.
Reporting to the Operations Director, our client is seeking strong Linux background, VMware system administrator expertise, and preferably experience in the telecoms industry. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping scalable, robust infrastructure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Your Role
* Architect and optimize diverse infrastructure solutions, ensuring reliability and scalability.
* Manage Linux-based systems (Red Hat, Debian) and virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes).
* Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform), and scripting (Python, Bash) to drive automation.
Expertise Required
* Proven experience in Linux system administration and managing VMware at a system administrator level.
* Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies, network protocols, and storage solutions.
* Familiarity with telecoms infrastructure is a significant advantage.
Salary & Benefits
Salary for this role is competitive up to £60,000-£75,000 dependent on experience.
Hybrid 2 days a week in London offices.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week working between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00.
