About the Role:
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of American Golf in our stores, helping customers find the perfect products to elevate their game. Your role will involve:
1. Delivering Exceptional Service: Greeting customers, understanding their needs, sharing product knowledge, and guiding them to make informed choices.
2. Driving Sales Success: Meeting sales targets, promoting link sales, and supporting customers through the entire sales process to close the sale.
3. Golf Enthusiast: Keeping up with the latest golf trends, products, and competitor insights so you can share valuable recommendations with our customers.
4. Operations & Merchandising: Maintaining product displays, handling inventory, managing till operations, and ensuring our store meets the highest visual standards.
5. Commitment to Health & Safety: Ensuring a safe and welcoming store environment by following health and safety protocols.
6. Team Spirit: Collaborating with team members to create a positive store atmosphere, supporting each other during peak times, and continuously learning.
What You Bring:
1. Passion for Golf: A love for the game (or a desire to learn!) that you can share with customers.
2. Retail and Sales Skills: Previous experience in retail or sales, especially in customer service roles, with a friendly, professional approach.
3. Eye for Detail: A keen focus on maintaining high standards in visual merchandising and shop-floor appearance.
