Overview:
Obvio, a Khosla-backed technology company, is dedicated to reducing traffic fatalities and enhancing municipal operations through solar-powered AI cameras that automatically detect and deter unsafe driving behaviors. As Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships with municipal partners, guiding the deployment of Obvio’s advanced camera systems, and coordinating communications strategies to support local traffic safety goals. This role serves as the primary point of contact for municipal partners, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing satisfaction with Obvio’s solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Municipal Partner Relations: Act as the main liaison for municipal partners, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a collaborative relationship focused on achieving traffic safety outcomes.
* Program Onboarding & Deployment: Lead municipalities through the onboarding process, coordinating the installation and integration of Obvio’s AI camera systems, and providing system training as needed.
* Communications & Public Relations: Develop and execute customized communications and press strategies for each municipality, highlighting traffic safety initiatives and Obvio’s contributions to these efforts.
* Ongoing Maintenance & Support: Proactively monitor system performance, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and troubleshoot hardware issues in collaboration with internal teams.
* Local Market Expertise: Understand the unique requirements and safety challenges in key areas, particularly Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, and DC, and adapt solutions accordingly.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Proven background in project management, public relations, and hardware deployment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and community relations.
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts to municipal leaders and other stakeholders, adapting language to resonate with different audiences.
* Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to anticipate potential challenges and organize resources for timely solutions.
* Technical Awareness: Understanding of basic hardware installation and maintenance processes to facilitate effective collaboration with technical teams.
* Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the DMV area (Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, and DC) to better serve key clients and address community-specific concerns.

Pay: $91,374.00 - $102,328.00 per year
