I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a business in Manchester who are in need of a Technical Services Manager.
Day to day will typically vary but will see you responsible for ensuring customer standards are up to date and communicated across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the Technical Services team to achieve excellence.
* Ensure compliance with customer through gap analysis and effective communication.
* Oversee Quality Management Systems and internal audits, ensuring non-conformances are addressed promptly.
* Play a key role in external audits, supporting the Quality Managers and wider team.
* Manage complaints and non-conformance systems to identify trends and drive improvements.
* Support raw materials management, including risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
* Maintain accurate customer specifications and artwork approvals.
* Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What They are Looking For
* Proven experience in a technical or quality-focused management role, within the food industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
* Expertise in quality management systems, internal auditing, and compliance processes.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A detail-oriented approach, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
