The People Services Team Lead is a senior specialised practitioner with theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and experience in highly complex, multifaceted and emotive employment relations matters and specialist HR topic areas, including strategic organisational change. The post holder will be responsible for role modelling and actively contributing to the implementation and embedding of ethical and good people centred management practices, driving excellence and continuous improvement, in line with CTM Values & Behaviours. Working as part of the People Services Team they will hold both line management and leadership responsibilities to drive forward our ambitious peoples services vision ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive range of professional and proactive people activities and services, across the Health Board. The People Services Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of a high quality, customer focused, expert service which drives forward continuous improvement in people management metrics and positive employee experience through restorative learning. The Post Holder Will Manage the people services team to build capability and improve performance to deliver a customer focused coaching service to facilitate the conclusion of appropriate and timely people management decisions in compliance with relevant policy and legislation. Work closely and collaborate with their peers within the other specialist People Services Teams (OD, L&D, Workforce Planning, EDI, Welsh Language), to lead on the design, implementation and delivery of specific strategic projects, to continually drive service and employee experience improvements. Utilise, analyse and interpret complex people data and information e.g. recruitment, exit interviews, turnover, commissioning figures etc. to provide intelligence to assist senior managers to develop proactive workforce plans with appropriate interventions and timescales identified. Work in partnership with local and regional trade union representatives, building and maintaining effective and trusting relationships.
