Town Planner
Location: Maidstone, Kent
My client, a leading planning consultancy, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Town Planner to join their team in Maidstone. The ideal candidate will have experience in urban planning, development control, and a passion for shaping sustainable communities. You will be responsible for preparing planning applications, providing technical advice, and liaising with clients and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of planning applications and supporting documents.
2. Advising clients on planning regulations and policies.
3. Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders.
4. Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Town Planning or related field.
2. Membership with RTPI (or working towards).
3. Strong communication and analytical skills.
4. Previous experience in planning.
