Project Manager My client is an established and growing global organisation that works within the electronics distribution sector working with clients within the Defence, Aerospace, Automotive and Medical sectors. The role will be to prioritise and manage a team to ensure a successful and profitable delivery of major projects within the sales teams. Working alongside a complex supply chain team, the customer service executives, and the operation leads to ensure that the project is delivered to the customer on time and right first time. Engaging with high value customers, detailing project plans and progress reporting to add value to the customer proposition and then deliver the project against the agreed scope. To manage all projects efficiently and with minimal risk, whilst liaising with all key stakeholders to ensure we meet our commitments whilst ensuring maximum profitability. Proven work experience as a Project Manager Confident report builder and presentation creator / presenter Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Confident client-facing / team communicator Proficient Microsoft Excel skills Ability to decipher and analyze data. To measure on project performance using appropriate system and tools Identify and manage project risk and issues. Implement corrective actions as and when needed. Allocate resources to avoid bottle neck drawbacks. Build upon existing industry relationships to develop the business. Nurture In-demand Talent by upskilling your team to mitigate risk of skills gaps Essential Functions: Ensure all projects are delivered on-time within scope and budget, maximizing GP Customer contract and supplier reviews Coordinate internal / external resources to ensure flawless execution of scope of works Report and escalate to management as needed. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Stock Control / Kanban understanding & management. Work with the wider team to resolve back markers. Deliver Cost Saving & Lead time reduction Initiatives.
