You will provide specialist clinical interventions and support multidisciplinary teams to develop psychologically informed care. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues delivering a 2-year pilot to extend psycho-oncology provision in North Derbyshire. The role provides ample opportunity to develop your skills in leadership and service development with an added focus on tackling health inequalities and developing trauma-informed practice. Main duties of the job Provide highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and clinical interventions in specialist clinical areas, delivering high quality evidence-based services. Co-design and implement innovative strategies to influence uptake, retention and effectiveness of clinical interventions and provide consultation, training, and supervision to junior colleagues, working within professional guidelines and Trust policies and procedures and engage with key partners. Work autonomously on specific projects into one or more geographical or service areas including: clinical outpatient clinics, MDT rehab programmes, psychological insights team and our integrated outreach psychology in DCHS. Use research skills for audit, evaluation and research and contribute to future business cases and strategic development, supporting delivery of corporate, divisional and service objectives and operational plans.
