The Security Monitor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard classified information and maintain effective control of uncleared personnel on the site. This the position has a combination of escorting, general maintenance, and materiel movement duties. Regulates access to classified facilities and information by performing a variety of duties:
• Provide effective access controls and physical security as required
• Provide security support in both office and/or project (outdoor) work environments
• Maintain compliance with all applicable security policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Assist with checking in uncleared personnel to site and ensuring that they are badged correctly.
• Visually observe and direct the activities of visitors and uncleared workers under escort to ensure they do not have access to protected information and systems.
• Prevent prohibited items from entering the facility.
• Ensure that all protected material is stored away or covered and properly announce when visitors are entering the facility and area where work is to be conducted.
• Ensure all visitors and uncleared workers are escorted out of the facility at the end of a workday or task.
• Work as part of a larger FLUOR team at site
• Other duties as assigned
